Nick Jonas Shares New Song "Area Code," Asks for Someone to Throw a Verse on It

Nick shared the new track shortly before his set at Budweiser's Made in America in Philadelphia, saying he "needs someone to put a verse on this."

Jonas Brothers haters be damned, Nick Jonas has been on an undeniable winning streak lately. "Chains" showed he had the creative muscle for a certified radio smash, and the Jhené Aiko remix only added to the track's moody mystique. Taylor Swift welcomed Nick to the ridiculously large Swift Squad with a ceremonial performance of "Jealous" in New Jersey, another victory for the former Jo Bro. His most recent single, the funk-nodding "Levels," received a proper live debut at this year's Miley-helmed VMAs.

Shortly before his set at this year's Made in America festival in Philadelphia on Saturday, Nick decided he might as well release another banger in the form of the noticeably Drakeesque "Area Code." The track, built on a similar bed of introspective atmospherics as Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak, is one of Nick's strongest showings yet. According to Nick himself, the track is just begging for a guest verse:

As for his Made in America set, he took the opportunity to give a worthy nod to Outkast by performing their obvious classic "Roses" to an audience more than willing to sing along:
