Drake fans worldwide have come to know Baka—real name Travis Savoury—most recently from the proposed holiday shout out on If You're Reading This It's Too Late standout, "Know Yourself," and previously due to his features on Nothing Was The Same. Last year he was sent to prison after being charged with human trafficking in an extensive investigation; however, he was released from jail just last month.
Unfortunately this freedom didn't last long, as everything has turned sour once again. Baka has landed himself back in police custody, this time for assaulting a woman. According to the Toronto Sun, the victim is said to be his on again/off again girlfriend, who found the artist passed out while french fries were burning on his stove top. The two exchanged words, which was when Baka purportedly assaulted the woman. We will keep you updated as this situation continues.
