Towards the end of 2013, Nipsey Hussle's career started to burn in a new way: The release of his latest mixtape, Crenshaw, was received incredibly well (despite the mixed and mastered version being priced at $100 per copy). Among its high-profile purchasers were Jay Z. And we loved it, too. But Nipsey wasn't such a big fan of us, as we later found out in an interview he initially wanted to charge us $10,000 for. We eventually chopped it up with Neighborhood Nip over the phone, and sorted some of it out.

Of course, when we found out he'd be in Austin, Texas at this year's SXSW festival, we had to talk to him, and maybe even get him to perform at The COMPLEX Complex (which he did, bringing out YG and Dom Kennedy with him too).

Check the video above, in which Nipsey talks to Complex staff writer Angel Diaz once again about resolving the Complex beef, performing at SXSW, what's next for the Crenshaw movement, and his collaboration with Fatburger.
