Ever since OutKast announced they would be reuniting onstage to perform at over 40 festival dates this year, naturally the next question was, "What about new music?" That question seemed to have been answered by Queen Latifah this week, who told Howard Stern that OutKast was going to "work on a new album."
Queen Latifah has now backed off her statement regarding a new album. The 43-year-old actress, artist, and talk show host took to Twitter earlier today to clarify her words. "The rumor mill says I predicted an OutKast album...except I didn't," she says. Latifah also apologizes for misleading fans who took her words as truth.
PS: the rumor mill says I predicted an @Outkast album...except I didn't. Sorry to get twitter a flutter. XO— Queen Latifah (@IAMQUEENLATIFAH) January 16, 2014
