OutKast will embark on 40-date festival run later this year, so the rumors of a new album should only intensify. But last night on Howard Stern's radio show, former Kast manager QueenLatifah dumped a whole gallon of gasoline on those dreams, telling Stern that Big Boi and Andre3000 are "about to work on a new album.”

Of course, everything the two have said in recent years has indicated that they have no plans whatsoever to make a new album. A recent report from Revolt TV stated that "the reunion is currently set to exist solely in the live setting, with no new album plans in sight." But in a post-BEYONCÉ world maybe dropping an album out of nowhere will become the norm.

Or maybe like a Christmas fairytale if we all collectively wish hard enough for a new OutKast album it will eventually become true.
