Go Inside Ibn Inglor's Mouth in the Video for "Black Print"

Chicago rapper Ibn Inglor's mixtape New Wave is one of the year's weirder, more challenging rap releases, a series of dark, blown-out compositions that span genres and defy easy listening. In many ways, it resembles the abrasiveness of Kanye West's Yeezus, a comparison that Ibn is not particularly fond of.

Single "Black Print," a standout from the project, addresses these comparisons directly and offers some stern words for the media (that's us!) making them (that's not us!) The video, directed by Andre Muir of T.E.H.O Media, takes us inside the refracted, dark, digital world that Ibn's music tends to evoke. It's totally cool and definitely unique enough to need no comparison.
