Premiere: Ibn Inglor "WAXXX"

Could this twenty-year old emerge as Chicago's next breakthrough star?

None

Chicago's Ibn Inglor has emerged out of the city's teeming hip-hop scene with his ambitious style and eclectic sound. Having recently been featured on our list of 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For, Inglor releases a new track today called "WAXXX."

The South Side emcee shows extreme vulnerability on the track, as he raps about his girlfriend leaving him after being forced to fend for himself on the streets. At the same time, he shows confidence in his ability to overcome the pitfalls that have beset his life thus far. Speaking on his education, Inglor says, "Got kicked outta school 'cause I don't associate with them lames/But I got a free Mac with ProTools, nigga/Tell me what you got from your school, nigga?/A piece of paper that burns easy?" Meanwhile, E.N.O.N. Jacobs and PGMW-produced beat is perfect for Inglor's introspection, a chilling soundscape suited for grim thoughts.

Inglor is currently working on his next project, New Wave. In the meantime, those looking for more material from Inglor should check out his last release, GawdsSpeed. With Chief Keef and Chance The Rapper breaking through out of Chicago in the last two years, will Ibn Inglor be next? Check out the latest track below and decide for yourself.
