Drake's album Nothing Was The Same has finally sold a million copies after being released on September 24. The monumental sales mark keeps Drake's streak alive as he now has three consecutive albums that have gone platinum since his debut Thank Me Later in 2010.

Nothing Was The Same sold 38,000 to break the million threshold and landed at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 this week. While this is Drake's worst showing thus far, his project has yet to fall out of the top 10 in its six weeks on the chart. Considering the hype and promotion behind Nothing Was The Same, the sales may not have been as high as some projected. Still, like Drake once announced on "Fancy," better late than never. Now his wrist and new album are platinum.
