Sir Michael Rocks is getting ready to release his first for-sale solo record, the Banco EP. During an interview for Sermon's Domain at a Seattle-area in-store, Mikey spoke on the process behind putting together the project, and why he chose to finally release a project for sale after four full-length free releases. He also speaks a little bit on the content of the record. Expecting it to be his most detailed effort to date, Mikey has enlisted the help of DJ Mustard, Jake One, Young Chop, Choo Jackson, and more on the production tip.

One song that will not be on Banco is a song titled "Lost Boys," a collaboration between himself, Mac Miller, and Trinidad James. According to Mikey, the track came together in Los Angeles, after he linked up with Trinidad and the two hit the studio. "Lost Boys" is produced by Miller himself, and it might be coming out on his upcoming sophomore release.
