In Murs' new video for his song "Animal Style" off Love & Rockets Vol. 1, Murs plays the part of Roderick, a teenager who is secretly in love with another male student at his school, Jonathan. The song tells the sad tale of their hidden relationship, and how a slip-up in front of Roderick's friends by Jonathan (he goes in to kiss Roderick in front of them) leads to their ultimate demise. Murs sports a "Legalize Gay" t-shirt in the video in support of Proposition 8 while he's rapping as himself, and as Roderick, he holds hands and cuddles with Jonathan, and at the very end of the video, kisses him on the mouth. Props to Murs for standing up for a cause he believes in through his art. Watch above.
