Last week, The Weeknd put out an open call for new band members. It seemed a little odd, because the enigmatic Canadian singer isn't known for putting on many live performances. Last time he announced a big show in the States, it was quietly cancelled, but it's starting to look more and more like The Weeknd has plans to step outside of Canada to perform in 2012.
The Facebook page and website for Coachella has been uploading videos from artists confirmed to play the California festival, and this afternoon they uploaded the video for The Weeknd's "The Knowing." Hmm. As expected, The Weeknd didn't really "confirm" that he would be performing at Coachella, but he did drop a pretty big hint on Twitter:
