Kavinsky - "OddLook (Surkin Remix)"
Last week, we fell head-over-heels for A-Trak's remix of "OddLook," and now we've got the equally inspiring take on the track by Surkin. He elevated the track into a great territory, building a strong intensity while maintaining a cool that will get even the hardest thugs on the floor getting their two step on. At times it feels like the soundtrack to a futuristic car race, and we're not mad at that at all. We're told that the OddLook EP will be out "soon," so keep an eye out for that!

Listen to Surkin's BBC Radio 1 Guest Mix
At the end of April, Surkin touched down for a 22-minute guest mix during Monki's fill-in for B.Traits. This is one of those mixes where you love what's being played but hate the shorter length of time; you wish he could let loose and let some of these tracks ride (including Skream's "Bang That"). Beggars can't be choosers, though. Surkin goes in regardless.
