It's official: the 2015 edition of Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas (aka the mother of all EDC festivals) will be taking place June 19-21, 2015. The location stays the same, with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosting this three-day EDM extravaganza. As of now there are no details regarding who will be performing, but you can assume that the biggest names in the scene will be in tow.

At 72 years of age, I wouldn't expect Judge Judy to know what a rave or the Electric Daisy Carnival was. Hell, my mom barely knows about EDM, and I write about it all of the time! Back in April, Insomniac announced the lineup for what was then a two-day EDC UK event, building from its debut one-day show. This week, it's been announced that due to "logistical issues" beyond their control, the July 13 date (aka day two) has been cancelled. Calvin Harris (who was scheduled to headline day two) been added to the Saturday lineup, and Insomniac says that those who purchased a Sunday ticket can either get a refund or an additional ticket to the Saturday, July 12 show.
