For as forward-thinking as Sex and the City was at the time, there were certain moments throughout the show that were, well, quite problematic. Take Samantha, for example. Sure, she was the embodiment of sexual freedom, but her views towards the trans community were stuck in the past. Luckily, the group had someone who called them out on their shit and her name is #WokeCharlotte. 

And yes, we know that this isn't the actual character Charlotte who produced these intellectual responses to her friends' ignorant statements. Instead, it was the creation of the Instagram account @everyoutfitonsatc or Every Outfit on Sex and the City, which is run by Chelsea Fairless and Lauren Garroni.
