If you saw the shocking VICE News Tonight documentary Charlottesville: Race and Terror, then you definitely know who Christopher Cantwell is. Cantwell is featured prominently throughout the doc as he leads a group of white nationalists in the "Unite the Right" rally held in Charlottesville, Virginia this past weekend. You can check out the doc below.

After the protests turned violent this past Saturday, Cantwell confidently admitted at the 7-minute mark in the documentary, "We're not nonviolent. We'll fucking kill these people if we have to." It appears Cantwell has changed his tune in a recently released video directed at police upon discovering that there may be a warrant out for his arrest.

“I want to be peaceful, I want to be law abiding, okay?" Cantwell says while fighting back tears. "That was the whole entire point of this. And I’m watching CNN talk about this as violent, white nationalist protest—we have done everything in our power to keep this peaceful. We are trying to make this peaceful, we are trying to be law abiding.”

At one point, Cantwell admits to the camera and any officers who come across this video, “I’m armed. I do not want violence with you. I’m terrified I’m afraid you’re going to kill me. I really am.” Wait, is this even the same guy who was talking tough throughout the documentary? Cantwell is afraid that the cops are going to harm him when Dylann Roof was treated with kid gloves by authorities after killing nine innocent people during a Bible study session in South Carolina two years ago? Don't worry, Cantwell, they will not harm a hair on your little neo-Nazi head.
