Donald Trump doesn't say whether he'll accept the election's results come November.

Donald Trump on whether he will accept election results: "I'll keep you in suspense, okay?" https://t.co/vXZGRz06zn https://t.co/00AD9GXS62

Donald Trump didn’t say whether he would accept the results of the presidential election when asked about it at the final debate. Trump has previously says he think the election will be “rigged,” a belief he repeated again tonight.

Trump, who earlier tonight said he didn’t believe Hillary Clinton would win this election, said he would look at the results of the election and make a decision about conceding when the time comes. Pressed for an answer about accepting the results by debate moderator Chris Wallace, Trump answered, “I will keep you in suspense.”

The statement raises the possibility that Trump would refuse to the concede the election, which would fly in the face of democratic and American traditions. Needless to say, Twitter wasn't having it.

John Adams accepted peaceful transfer of power in 1800. That's been the standard for 216 years. Now Trump says: "I'll keep you in suspense."

Q, essentially: Do you subscribe to the basic principles of American democracy?
Trump: "I’ll keep you in suspense."

One thing that's not in suspense: Clinton is way ahead in the polls and the heavy favorite to win the election. A Quinnipiac poll released earlier today had the Democratic candidate up by 7 points nationally among likely voters.
