It’s a big week for Jay Z fans.
In celebration of his critically acclaimed 4:44 album, Fear of God has put together a new collection inspired by the project and its supporting tour. The predominantly black range will include high-end streetwear staples like T-shirts, hoodies, denim, and outwear emblazoned with bold co-branding as well as graphics. According to the brand’s press release, the collection was inspired by creative conversations with Jay’s team and is centered on “hard truths” and “new perspectives.”
“Jay is the muse,” Fear of God designer/founder Jerry Lorenzo told Vogue. “From the wristbands and bandanas to the proportions, we wanted to modernize Jay’s approach and contribution to fashion through our lens. Jay gave us feedback and direction along the way. He’s a true artist in every sense of the word.”
Fear of God’s new collection will drop Thursday, just hours before Jay concludes his 4:44 Tour at L.A.’s The Forum. The pieces will be available at The House of God Pop-up Shop at Maxfield LA, with doors opening at 11 a.m. PT.
