This Lemaire field shirt has two plackets. There's the first one you can fasten the buttons through and then, out of nowhere, there's a second to thread those buttons through again. Is there a purpose for such frivolity? It's highly unlikely. Plackets aside this is a great shirt. It's quite utilitarian and practical even though it looks unnecessarily complicated. This some new age military surplus steez. You know those dudes who can go into one of those spots and pick something out that doesn't fit them at all and it still looks fire on them? Yeah, we all want to be that guy. My dad actually used to exclusively wear black cargo pants from a military surplus store in my hometown. It looked weird at first, but like anything, if you wear it often enough, it'll start to look normal, which is a lesson you can apply to just about anything. Even this shirt.
