You know Ovadia & Sons. You probably like Ovadia & Sons. Just like we do. If you've paid a modicum of attention, you've also noticed how the collections have shifted and evolved in the past few years. When I saw O&S for the first time, it was pretty deeply rooted in the Ivy League look of yore: a lot of madras print, "fun" blazers and strong, yet wearable tailoring. But the past couple of seasons have brought about some new territory for the brand—the 3M running jacket and the insane leather biker of last season immediately come to mind. Not to mention the company is branching off into activewear as well. Now, with F/W 14 around the corner, the brand gives us a look at the new collection. Inspired by grungy rock'n'roll influences, particularly the music the Ovadia brothers listened to growing up, the brand drops in doses of pony hair, leopard print and more experimental materials like silver foil leather to move even further outside the norm. As a result, the collection skews much darker and broods WAY harder than before. O&S sure has come a long way, hasn't it? Keep an eye out as the collection hits stores soon.
