In a brilliant ongoing series, New York-based graphic designer and illustrator Peter Stults considers what pop culture film favorites would be like if they had been made in a different era: who would be the stars, who would make the movies, and—most importantly—what their posters would look like?

“What If: Movies Re-Imagined…” gets creative with vintage speculation, inventing ads for modern films like The Monuments Men and American Hustle starring classic actors and actresses such as Humphrey Bogart, Lou Costello, and Meryl Streep. These creative re-conceptions will have you pining for some golden age flicks before you have a chance to look through all of them.
