Although most of us have long since gotten over the days of feeling embarrassed about buying condoms at the store, there are still places in the world where people are too afraid to do so. This is especially problematic in countries where HIV rates are the highest. That's why the Center for African Family Studies has commissioned artist Soi to design a line of vibrant, pop art-inspired condoms, which look more like art than anything.

It wasn't easy for the organization to find an artist willing to take on the project for the very reason teenagers in the area don't purchase condoms; anything associated with sex is a taboo, even to artists. Soi, however, remains unabashed. He designed the discreet condom wrappings in order to promote safe sex and to appeal to those who are a little more shy about their activities in the bedroom. Watch the video below to learn more about the project.
