Patrick Martinez recently teamed up with Blackrainbow Paris to create a line of t-shirts and matching tote bags. Reminiscent of Martinez's one-day installation in El Tapatio Market, the collection takes inspiration from consumer culture and food in general. The black t-shirt features a still life of bread, milk, and eggs, framed in neon and humorously paired with the words, "What's crackin." The white t-shirt, on the other hand, beams with a plate of fluorescent cake and a slightly more motivating albeit still cheeky message, "Get cake homie."
You can cop a piece from Patrick Martinez and Blackrainbow's latest collaboration by heading over to the Parisian brand's online store, though you might want to act fast. The limited edition collection comprises only 50 pieces of both t-shirts. On a sweeter note, each purchase is delivered to your door in either a special cake box or brown bag, numbered and signed by the artist.
