The 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend is almost upon us, which is awesome because we need something to wash the nasty taste of Sochi and the Super Bowl out of our mouths. In a special collaboration, Sprite and legendary artist Futura are working to "bring together basketball and street culture through creative self-expression."

Futura designed three basketballs that will be seen as various times during the weekend, one of which he created in collaboration with Lebron James. All three balls feature bold colors and the outline-free shapes that Futura pioneered with his graffiti, and all three will be auctioned off after the weekend's events to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Check out the special documentary below in which Futura talks about his art, self-expression, and what it was like to paint on basketballs for the first time in his life.
