The majesty and mystique of the movies is somewhat lost on the Netflix and Hulu generation that consumes a large portion of the industry’s material. But the glitz and glamour of the silver screen is alive and well and can be found in Franck Bohbot’s series "Cinema." Bohbot captures in images the grandiose, palatial-like construction of old school movie theaters, places people used to patronize devoutly. Part of the rush associated with going to the theater was knowing that at any moment they might witness the birth of the next film star. And if there’s a right way to formally enter the world of showbiz, it’s got to be in one of these sensational cinemas.
