These Are Microscopic Photos of Drugs

"I don't know if I'm feeling it."

Have you ever wondered exactly what the smallest particulates of the illegal and legal substances you’re ingesting look like, on a near-molecular level? It’s a quest accepted and completed by one artist, Sarah Schoenfeld, for her “All You Can Feel” series. The German photographer put diluted drug mixtures onto negative film, mimicking how they might react within the body. According to It’s Nice That, Schoenfeld used to work in Berlin nightclubs, where she picked up her wonderment of how these substances might appear when magnified. The results are astounding, especially considering that, visually, many of the chemicals appear how you imagine the user of the substance to feel: chromatic, spiked, angular, abrupt, or broken.
