Paris-based street artist Ludo is back on the scene with a new work in his city, Ordem e Progresso. This piece is political in its aestheticism. Constructed using black, white, and green, the mural depicts a hand grasping a hundred dollar bill between its index and forefinger. Emerging from the rolled bill is a tree, half-green and half-pale, as though contact with the currency is sucking the life out of it. Ludo dedicated the project to the man-made wildfires that have been destroying France’s wilderness for profit.
