Melbourne-based photographer Ben Thomas (aka cityshrinker) employs an Inception aesthetic in his latest series. Thomas utilizes tilt shift photography techniques to capture famous city skylines with wide angel lenses. Later, he messes around with these photos using editing software that allows him to cut and splice the images, mirroring pieces of the picture back onto itself. His techniques create miniature, vortex-like photos that are so intricately done that they almost seem like dreamy optical-illusions.
