Late last month we showed you photos from a collaboration between Swizz Beatz and Hebru Brantley, now we have a little context. The video below was shot by VH1 + SCOPE ahead of their ART + MUSIC + BEACH project scheduled for December during SCOPE Miami Beach 2013. In the segment, Brantley and Swizzy talk about the ways in which music and art are connected. "Art is music, and music is art...when I see artists I automatically go into a collaborative state of mind," says Swizz as he and Brantley paint the piece together, breaking from the art only to make more music. Brantley calls the relationship "symbiotic" and says that "it's more about evoking some sort of emotion."
