Other than recently appearing in a Breaking Bad episode and communicating to his employees via school-style intercom, do you need further proof on how awesome J.Crew’s CEO Mickey Drexler is? For starters, he just literally made a boss move and joined the board of in-demand eyewear maker Warby Parker. Drexler was added on to advise the company’s founders Neil Blumenthal and Dave Gilboa, in addition to investing in the brand earlier this year. This addition further solidifies a partnership that will for sure further improve WP’s move into brick-and-mortar retail.
According to Fortune, however, this isn’t the only thing these CEO’s have in common. Apparently all three spend some time partaking in vigorous workouts at SoulCycle. Drexler must be regularly killing it at the popular spin class because Blumenthal officially christened him the “Godfather of SoulCycle.” Nobody gets a nickname like that doing some half-ass pedaling. Nobody.
