French photographer from Toulouise, Alexandre Chamelat, has been taking some incredible snaps of the Montreal underground system. How he actually achieved these photos is kind of a mystery to us. The young flickster shared a brilliant series of shots through his website, where he seems to be perched above the tracks of the Montreal subway. The result of the shoot is a dark and arresting series that thrives on absence rather than the bustle we’re used to connoting with subways—there are no people in Chamelat’s photos, only the tracks, stretching off into the darkness, forever.
