It was one thing to learn that Chinese artist Ai Weiwei is a master buzz-cutter and has given hundreds of haircuts in his life, but New York-based contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang takes it a step further, going full stylist on one of the female employees at his studio.

Guo-Qiang has had very successful art exhibitions and installation as of late, including his "Falling Back to Earth" exhibition currently showing at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (which influenced parts of Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" video), his pyrotechnic-rigged Christmas tree at the Smithsonian's Freer Gallery, and his well-received "Sky Ladder" show at MoCA. We don't think that he or Ai Weiwei have to worry about backup plans, but judging from these photos Guo-Qiang is definitely better prepared for the hair world.
