Rowdy Roddy Piper should be thrilled, he has become a fashion icon for a generation of dudes who want to wear skirts. The legless clothing option gives the wearer extra breathing room, and in this current heat wave, we can't hate on people who succumb to the weather and ditch the pants, or can we?

Either way, a group of British school boys, who are forced to wear trousers, have found a loophole in their school's dress code—and to beat the heat, they've been rocking skirts to school, Daily Mail reports.

The boys have been wearing the skirts in protest, but also to catch a cool breeze their wool pants negate them from receiving. "Over the last few days I’ve had a few headaches and skin irritations because I’ve been too hot," one of the boys said. "Girls can wear skirts, so I don’t see why we can’t wear shorts. It’s a reasonable protest."

However, these weren't the first dudes to find this exception in their dress code and donned skirts because of it. Not too long ago, a group of Swedish bus drivers also wore skirts to protest the no shorts clause in their uniform. So, next time you're not allowed to shorts when it's super fucking hot outisde, you know what to do. Go Rowdy Roddy Piper on your oppressor.
