If anyone tries to be "hip," there's a high probability that they're going to superbly miss the mark and look like a clown. Air Canada had one of these embarrassing moments recently. The value-priced airline, in an attempt to move away from a rigid, corporate image, dressed its employees in some of the worst clothes ever: sweaters, '70s-approrpriate ties, and fedora hats.

Yes, fedora hats, the thing, no man named not named Gay Talese nor born pre-1920, should ever consider wearing.

“Our goal was to create a unique, welcoming and fashion forward look with lasting appeal that would also be practical and comfortable,” the brand's vice-president of customer experience told CNN.

Unfortunately, the "lasting appeal" was lost when the airline went for a Mr. Rogers meets Urban Outfitters circa 2008 look—something that will make them the butt of men's style blogger jokes. Or anyone who knows a ridiculous outfit when they see it.

We're not sure what's worse: The fact people actually have to wear these uniforms, or the fact they were inspired by Glee. Oof.
