We've definitely heard of shoes to die for, but this is the first instance we can recall of shoes to die from. A 44-year-old woman in Texas has been accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death with the heel of her stiletto shoe, a Houston news source is reporting.

Ana Lilia Trujillo, the alleged fashion killa, called 911 at 4 a.m. and reported that a male needed medical attention—by which she meant her 59-year-old boyfriend had been stabbed in the head repeatedly with the heel from a stripper-like shoe—allegedly, that is.

We've seen our share of ratchet moments in fashion history, but a Houston police officer's description of the situation definitely gives this bizarre tragedy the ratchet label: "There was a large amount of blood that was in the residence and some debris that looks like from an altercation that took place, but she actually called 911."

Currently, there's no set-in-stone evidence against Trujillo, and she was released from jail on a $100,000 bond.

Recently, in an equally bizarre instance, a man tried to kill a woman by poisoning her high heels. We're not sure why high heels are the recent weapon of choice, but it seems like this pair of stilettos actually committed shoe-icide.
