Tochigi, Japan's Ashikaga Flower Park has been pulling in tourists from around the globe for centuries now. Its prized wisteria tree has been referred to as the most beautiful tree in the whole world and stands as the largest and oldest tree in Japan. Since 1870, this 143-year-old tree has been flourishing, supported by beams which create the incredible flowered umbrella affect. If you happen to find yourself in Japan, the wisteria trees are at their best from mid-April to mid-May. If not, no worries, you can check out Ralph Mirebs' virtual tour.
