The New York Knicks squeaked out a win against the Boston Celtics yesterday, in what is quickly becoming one of the most heated rivalries in the NBA. Carmelo Anthony dropped 36 points to lead his squad over Paul Pierce and the Celtics, but there was also a battle going on pre-game as fans showed up displaying support for their teams in the most stylish manner possible.
Despite a home-court advantage for New Yorkers, there's never a clear winner in street style. Everyone was putting on for their city and rocking the crispiest gear possible. We were outside Madison Square Garden before tip-off to capture the scene—guys and girls that combined their love of their team with good-looking gear.
