An exhibition at SHOWcabinet in London focuses on the theme of prosthetics, as it displays various wearable suits, braces, horns, and more that modify the shape of the body. While today prosthetics commonly refers to artificial body parts used for replacement, the show draws reference from the Greek root of the word "prosthesis," which indicates an addition—to present various devices that extend, limit, or morph the standard form of the human body.
