The Google Art Project is doing wonders for the art community by capturing works that are hard to preserve, likely to disappear, or are otherwise temporal. Google has added 30 different partners to its roster, gaining access to about 2,000 pieces of art. The new works include 100-plus high-profile street art that aren't guaranteed to remain forever. The site adds to the ongoing conversation of giving the public access to creative works.
