Janine Antoni, whose well known for using her body in her sculptures, took part in the New Museum’s NYC 1993 exhibit. She presented self portraits called Lick and Lather, featuring 7 busts of her body in chocolate. She pours 35-pounds of chocolate into a cube. When it sets, she licks the raw form to create the work. The busts are so tantalizing that museum goers have actually tasted the artwork. Some people will go the extra mile for their work.
