Is Ai Weiwei letting up in 2013? We don't think so. His exhibition at the Hirshhorn Museumin Washington, D.C. continues to attract hundreds of visitors daily, and the December release of his mini-book Weiwei-isms was a hit.

Most recently, he's collaborated with toy designer Eric So to create a series of rubber sculptures titled "Aibodao," which means "Unloveable" in Chinese. They were made for the Singapore Museum of Art and Design's booth at Art Stage Singapore in response to the Chinese government's criticism of nude portraits in his studio (which they called "pornography"). As usual, Ai Weiwei doesn't stand for injustice, and his latest collaboration continues his journey as a political artist in a meaningful direction.
