After a makeover of the seminal fashion house, Yves Saint Laurent (now Saint Laurent Paris), it appears that folks on the inside aren't so pleased with creative director Hedi Slimane's rebranding process. Slimane has operated his design duties from Los Angeles, a world away from the Paris-based brand's headquarters, and some are calling for him to return to France or go away. Saint Laurent Paris has denied any rumors that Slimane would be forced to resign after the designer's first collection was released, and the brand states Slimane was brought in for his "very clean vision for the house." What do you think will happen with the designer? It appears that his first collection received much editorial buzz, so maybe this is just an overreaction.
