19. Shepard Fairey

Shepard Fairey is a household name at this point thanks to the global success of his brand OBEY and his now infamous Obama Hope graphic. In 2012, his deeply political and unmistakable work was seen in the form of a Trayvon Martin portrait on the cover of Ebony Magazine, a redesigned logo for The Rolling Stones, Black Keys posters, and Eazy E and MCA tributes, just to name a few. Fairey continues to push buttons with his art and the world is certainly (still) taking notice.
