The artist formerly known as Mos Def has appeared more on fashion blogs than music blogs as of late. Co-signing brands like ISAIA and Ale et Ange, Yasiin Bey has crafted his own individual style throughout the years. Currently living in New Orleans working on a project with Mannie Fresh, the artist took some time out of his schedule to link up with London designer Adrien Sauvage.
The lookbook is a continuation of the designer’s On the Road series that invites artists to wear his collections the way they would in real life. The black and white portrait style photos follow Yasiin Bey travelling from New Orleans to Houston, Texas as he wears different pieces from A. Sauvage's Fall/Winter 2012 collection.
