The 2012 Wildlife Photographer of the Year Winners

The Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide announced the winners of the 2012 Veolia Environment Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest a few days ago. There were 48,000 images submitted from 98 different countries, and 100 were chosen for the final exhibition as winners. The 1st place winner, Paul Nicklen, shot an incredible underwater portrait of penguins.

Visit the exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London through March 2013.
