Tara Tucker is a Bay Area-based visual artists. Tucker studied sculpture at California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland, receiving both her BFA and MFA from the college. Tucker grew up around animals, both alive (her family owned parrots and raced dogs) and dead (her mom assisted with taxidermy at the Natural History Museum), so her fascination with animals and their anatomy was predestined. In addition to sculpture, some of Tuckers most breathtaking work are her drawings. Intricate and painfully detailed, her animal illustrations truly capture her love for the creatures and her impressive talent at replicating them. [TaraTucker]
