Remiscent of the quirky videos released prior to the launch of the Lanvin collaboration, it appears these videos combine elements from both brands to give us a look at the concepts behind the pieces.
True to the Margiela team's design aesthetic, the videos combine the numbers — normally used to differentiate between the label's collections, and use them as a countdown to when the vid begins. For men, we get a look at outerwear: a topcoat purportedly made from the "fusion of several car coats." The result? This hybrid:
Details like asymmetrical pockets (one's a flap pocket and one's a slash pocket), a hidden placket, and a club collar definitely have us wondering what else is in store for this collaboration.
