Karim Rashid has designed a new public art installation, Kopperscape, at the Edmonton International Airport. Made of fiberglass and coated with copper, the sculpture comprises chairs and side tables. The shapes are derived from Rashid's interpretation of the Canadian landscape and was chosen as one of 5 permanent art pieces at the airport's new terminal from over 200 submissions. [PSFK]
