Boglioli and Kolor Release Jacket Collaboration For A Cause

The covetable (and pricey) sportcoats hit stores and get menswear bloggers everywhere thirsting.

A while back it was announched that Japanese brand kolor teamed up with Italian label Boglioli — which has been buzzed about by menswear nerds for months because of their comfortable, unstructured sportcoats — for two special-edition jackets that will benefit the nonprofit organization Save the Children Japan. The organization helps victims of the earthquake and tsunami that rocked the island this past March.

The handsome jackets recently found their way into stores. Combining premium fabrication with a deconstructed, simple aesthetic, the jackets are limited to 600 pieces worldwide. The jackets come in a dark brown cashmere and a navy cotton, with the cashmere fetching a hefty price tag. Expect to fork over $1,073 for the cotton version and $2,150 for the cashmere. They are currently available at Porvocacao.com. [slamxhype]
