With official opening set for November 18, 2011, the new Natural History Museum of Utah is already catching a major buzz. Sure, not quite as exciting as catching couples necking from the Highline, but the Standard NYC's architects, Ennead Architect, have seamlessly situated their latest design into its Rocky Mountain surroundings. Incorporating photovoltaic energy, radiant cooling, and extence storm water catchment, the museum will also be one of the greenest in all of Salt Lake City. Nice.
