Artist Gregory Euclide has unveiled a series of new works at David B. Smith Gallery in Denver. The artist specializes in rather amazing landscapes utilizing a range of material — pencil, found foam, paper, wood, moss, etc. — to form highly textured and inviting relief paintings. It's cool stuff and all about the contradictions of contemporary life and pristine nature.
One of the works on display in the exhibition is Untitled, the inside album cover artwork for the recently released album Bon Iver by Bon Iver.
Exhibition runs through October 15, 2011.
